I have heard{not confirmed by my eyes} Walmart is selling Mobil 1 synthetic ATF at closeout price of only $3 per quart- better hurry if you want to scoop some up, may need to hit a few local stores to secure a sizable stash!!!! Might as well burn through a $100 bill and get 33 quarts so you are set for the next 60-80K miles.

Went by one Wal-Mart and they didn't have it. I will check the other one today. "Chinamart"...I see you been on BITOG too long. It's funny how people call it Chinamart and they sell A LOT of products that are made in the US, some being consumer products that we make. If you don't like "Chinamart", then don't stop there.

Stopped by during lunch...didn't find the ATF but did get some mobil synthetic engine oil 10-40 for half price $2.50/qt (was $5.00).

The guy before me grab 10 quarts and I grabbed 10. Only 10 left.

Walmart really offers the best prices. Unfortunately, that means less jobs in the US. The economy is globalizing so it will continue to be that way...survival for the fittest/someone who can produce for least $$$.

None of the local WalMarts carry Mobil 1 synthetic ATF and the only one they stock is their house brand. I've been paying $7/qt at Napa.

WalMart does have great prices on 5 quart bottles of motor oil. It was $10 until a year ago then shot up to almost $20 but now has settled back to $13. I buy a lot for my 5 cars.

I wish WM had 0w-40. The European blend is required by my car but the dealer charges a lot for it.

For the Q I've always been satisfied with WM's Supertech synthetic. My 92 Q is still on the road somewhere in California with over 230k.

Is that a sale price? It wasn't that price last time I went into the store.
