For anyone that's interested, the video is actually in Cantonese, and the person imitating Steve Jobs is actually a real actor, who was given the role to mimic Steve Jobs. The event was not to reveal an iphone clone, but rather to reveal a new MTR (Hong Kong's subway system) app for the iphone. Near the end you'll see a picture of an iPad, and it's just stating that the iPad verson of the app will be coming near the end of the year.

Not even close, Cantonese is probably the 2nd most popular dialect, other than the official language Mandarin. They're not the same.
