which mod should i do first on stock sr? I want a front mount just to get rid of side mount and the heat soaking problem...but i dont want it blocking air to my radiator - still running the 1/2 inch oem radiator... cools fine now with one electric fan (i have altima dual fans too).

Get the front mount first or upgrade the radiator first (i was thining mishimoto or koyo posibly)

Or should i jsut wait and put them both on at the same time?

<<<no longer have s14.5 pignose now

I would suggest doing the IC first. Usually you only run into cooling problems when you prolong taching the car out (ie racing anything but auto-x)

yeah you should be fine the oem radiator for a while.I know someone was selling mishimoto rads on ebay for 150 shipped. good deal IMO i ordered the last s14 ka one ha

as for intercoolers from what i hear the ebay ones should work just fine. maybe you could buy both

yeah, i just seen the mishimotos on ebay - just pm'd them to make sure they were an authorized dealer. If they aren't, then mishimoto wont stand behind their one year warranty...kick a** deal though..thinking of going with the ISIS intercooler kit from Enjuku. It seems solid...

I usually prefer to go with Spearco intercoolers. It's what I'm currently running in my car, and it holds up pretty well.

i"m shooting for my numbers on my last setup - roughly 390-400whp. just needed something that flowed well w/o too much pressure drop. Its hard finding specs on intercoolers on the market - rare, but some are out there. I think mishimoto has their flow numbers out there somewhere...My old blitz was the shiznit, but i dont feel like going baller this go round...

just looked on Enjuku's website for example - ISIS is claiming to support ~400 hp (i'm assuming motor - thus i might be overshooting its limitations) I just dont wanna have heat soaking problems, but i dont see it being a big issue.

i agree with the first reply. If you will be doing any kind of really hard driving, ie: track, radiator first. else it really doesnt matter. fmic will look cooler at least
