The J was a champ.

3-5" of "dryish" snow so decent grip available. Lots of slush on the expressways.

I followed a beautiful green 1995+ J30 with the gold package and after market 17" wheels for a long time (possible NICO member?)down 20/Lake and I-290 south. We were both safely out performing all the other traffic. Learn your VLSD and your tires.

Yoko YK420s performed well.

I just got done digging out my ride and went for a spin to shake some of the snow loose. Blizzaks performed very well I must say.

They closed parts of the iced up freeways here, for a short time. It's NEVER this cold here (teens tonight) so people go loony and drive stupid.

On my way to work, 5am Sat, I saw a J30 (green, too) off to the side of the road, trying to make it up a very small incline, with no luck. Since every Infiniti owner I've met seems to be good people, I figured I'd lend him a helping hand. He had no winter traction device, so I told him I work at the local tire store and he needs to come see me.... Since I am a boyscout, I came prepared with my tire chains, jumper cables, tow rope and chain, my 4x4 quad loaded in my truck, as well as several bags of sand, for extra weight, and for spreading on the roadway if I got into trouble...

So anyways, we lay down a good bit of sand, and with some careful throttle he made it safe up the hill. I think, before I got there, he started to spin his tires, and decided to stop, instead of trying to carefully proceed on his own. Some people do not know how to operate in bad conditions.

Didn't see him come into the shop yet, but I did manage to hand him a NICO card and invite him to come see the site. His response:

"I don't have a computer, but thanks for your help" .. and he sped off, in a hurry, spinning tires and fishtailing...

My J has been doing just fine. This year I'm running with Goodyear Eagle RS-As and they perform very well in the snow. Yesterday and this morning it snowed a little and I wouldn't slip unless I really punched it. Of course, I just HAD to a few times, for fun, hehe. :D
