Chicago Area A/C's?

Who out there is from the Chicago-land area? Where about are you all located? I see a bunch of ACs on the road, but I have no idea if any of them are members. Also, have you done any mods yet? If so, we all need to meet at some point and check it out. I would greatly appreciate checking out mods in person before I decide to roll them out on my ride.

BTW, I hang out all over the place. Usually around the far north side of the city, but I'm out to the burbs a lot (from Darien to New Lenox to Mt. Prospect). I also work down near the Indiana border, so if you ever see a 3.5 with tints around these areas it might very well be me.

I live in cicero, just outside of the city. Tho i usually be driving around the indiana border since my gf lives out that way.

Once in a while, I'll hop on the skyway and see a red a/c 2.5, he keeps up with me for a lil while lol.

So far, i just have a nismo exhaust and stillen rear wing.

Sweet. We'll have to all meet up some time. I'd like to hear what the Nismo sounds like in person. I'm gonna replace mine if I ever find some money, and I want to know the sound before I make my selection. YouTube vids just don't do anything justice...

Sweet deal. Just let me know. I've got no problem letting anyone here on the boards demo my stereo, especially someone else who is equally insane when it comes to spending money on a mobile A/V setup.

Hey Charlie, when and where did you get your coupe? You called it charcoal in the map thread, I'm assuming that is dark slate? You didn't by chance get it near the end of february in the greater chicago-land area did you?

Looks like we've got a few people around Chi-town. I've been super busy today on account of the freakin storms last night. Had to help my parents out a bit as a huge tree in their lawn fell and decided to poke a nice hole in the roof...

On a side note, whereabouts in Chicago are you? I see a dark slate (assuming that's your color from the sig) 2.5S coupe all the time. Just wondering if it's you or someone not on this forum.

Sounds great. You let me know what days you'll be here, and we'll see if any of these other A/C's want to come hand out as well. We'd just need to find a location everyone can get to without worrying much about traffic.

I'm probably not seeing you then (the only time I'm around UIC is heading north on the Kennedy). I see a dark slate 2.5 in the Mayfair (northwest side) all the time. The person who owns it must live out that way I'm guessing. I've also seen a black 2.5, a black 3.5 and another silver 3.5 like mine, only sans tinted windows. Once I get my promo cards I'll have to track those cars down and start passing them out.

Yo South of chicago right here, My profiles a bit baren, but I'm rocking a 2.5 Coupe CVT fully stock right now, going to wait till next spring to start any modding. As I'm a noob to cars, need to rasie some cash, and I dont want to add anything to make ti pretty and then make that part suffer through a Chicago winter.

P.S. Anyone do anything about rust proofing the underside of the car?
