Chevron Techron @ 91Oct vs. Shell VPower @91Oct

I use Chevron 95% of time I get gas. (for 1.5yrs)

Texasoil had me use some Techron when my GreenQ45a was shuttering @ idle. (BAD shuttering almost stalling) I thought I had to change a few injectors for sure.

Texasoil said "Before you go tearing into everything try Techron Fuel Injector cleaner."

I figured 20.00 vs 875.00

So I overdosed my fuel system 2x 12gallon treatments Techron Injector Cleanerand 1x 20gallon Complete Fuel System Cleaner.

Mixed with only 6 gallons of gas.

Before I could I get home the idle and accel were both better.

The next day I went outside and started the Q and NO SHUTTER, Idle was smooth. .

I thought it was to good to be true. It wasn't. I was hooked.

Now to the Shell VPower Gas

I work late and get off around 12:00-2:00AM not many stations open those hours.

There is a 24 Hr Shell\McDonalds I needed gas and stopped.I put in there VPower 91Oct. gas (only 5 gallons untill I can get to Chvron)

This stuff was like rocket fuel in my Q45a.

I figured it was all in my head. No way just gas could make that big of a difference right?(I thought)

The next day: I asked my girl to drive the Q and she asked what I did to the car. I said "nothing"..She called me a liar...she said "It's faster"

That was 2 months ago, the next day after I got my Chevron gas W\Techron the extra pep was gone . and a new (small) rough idle was felt for a few hours.

Tonight I got a few more gallons and "There's something in the gas man".

The car felt faster in just 5 miles.

The only thing I afraid of is the bad idle comming back from Shell gas.They say they have chem's to clean just like Chevron's gas w\Techron.

The thing is Chevron's been SO good to me. They have prolonged my injectors life by @least 2yrs.

I know Chevron cost alot but not as much as good injectors.

Does anyone out there use "ONLY" Shell VPower.

I'm a Philips guy usually, and its "okay" -- its nearby and cheap. But after filling up with QT (its a 5 mile drive to get it) I noticed smoother idle.
