chevron fuel injector cleaner

is it suppose to make your gas go down really fast when u first put it in and fill up? cuz i just put some in and it made my mpg worse than what it already was. i drove 42 miles and 1/4 of tank is gone already. any help?

the chevron isnt your problem, id check your o2 sensor

i just recently replaced it. along with cap/rotor, wires and plugs

like wut kind of info do you need? that i drive like a granny and dont push my car hard. straight pipe exhaust, ka24e with 142k. new oil filter, fuel injectors, and wutever i said above. i had an intake and then a few weeks later, after i put my intake on thats when my gas went bad. but there was no tubing going to that black box at all ever. so could that b a problem???? dust getting in there? if so wtf is it doing and what will i need to clean/replace. im getting at least 12-15 mpg now b4 i was getting 28.

Someone mentioned in another thread that a loose wire connector to the coolant temp. sender or even a bad coolant temp. sensor could cause poor mileage....

just replaced that too. i think its my cat. cuz i read somewhere that a clogged cat can cause bad mileage. i left my aiv thingy unfiltered for abot 3months. so i think i clogged the cat really bad..

If that injector cleaner generated excessive smoke, it could have messed your O2 Sensor again. Then again, I have never used it so..

Techron is good stuff and incredibly safe, unless the injector is simply too dirty.<but> if an injector or two are done for anyway it may worsen symptoms on occasion.

If the cleaner knocked something loose and now its keeping the pintle from operating properly an addtional application might either hurt or help things.Difficult to predict.
