I recall seeing a car with a cherry blossom paint scheme. It was a cherry blossom tree with the blossoms floating off of it trailing across the body of the car to the rear. Does anyone know what car this was and where i can find a pic? I've been searching and cant find it. I thought it was a silvia or a skyline but I'm not sure.

yeah cause its so totally cool to be different :sarcasm:

i dont get why everyone finds the NEED to be different. youre not allowed to do things just cause you like'em?

like some guys like show cars. personally i dont have much respect for'em. but i dont get on their case about it.

You can do whatever you want, it wont be original or as cool if everyone does it or has already done it. Thats why people tell you to be yourself. I wouldn't mind having the blossoms down the side of my car, but i also wouldn't expect people to look at it the same as if i had really come up with the idea and did it first. I mean, I want to still drift :ylsuper and continue building my car even though it is all over super street magazine now (hehe drifting not my car i wish). Even before it was, i wasn't the first to drift or do anything to my car (minus a few mods). Dont get me wrong, I like the coverage, it just isn't as original or cool to have or build a drift car like it would have been like 10 years ago. now that would be original. cool is doing whatever you want and enjoying it... in a nutshell :rolleyes

like an original manuscript, original brake pads, or an original song, to be an original, you have to be a first/pioneer. no trends involved in originality. that is called evolution.

somewhere there was the first guy that put cherry blossoms on his car. that was original and very tight. now putting these same blossoms on your car could be cool, just not as cool as the first.

i wouldnt hate on you or anyone else for the blossoms, i just wouldnt say you are original, cool perhaps, just not original.

Thanks Marshun, exactly what i was gonna say. Its almost like people like things because other people dont. I'd rather see a ricer who actually thinks his **** is tight than someone who fakes liking something in order to be different. Not saying that the blossoms are ugly, I'm just saying in genereal I see this happening.

not everything that has become trendy from an original idea was invented to be only original. form follows function, thats where alot of originality comes from. the cherry blossoms i guess are functional in the sense that you may have an idea where the car comes from just by looking at it.
