So I'm not a chef but I really enjoy cooking. The other night I took pics of a whole bass I baked and it was bomb. Unfortunately I only have before pics but you get the idea. Let's see whatever everyone else is creating.

This is wrong on so many level but looks so right! I'm really jealous of the smoker too. Right now I'm just using smoker boxes on my gas grill which is limiting. Were those full hams? They look amazing!

The dogs remind me of our camping food. Fry up a bunch of bacon, caramelize onions in the bacon grease then cook Portuguese sausage in it. Slap it all on a French roll with some mayo and mustard and enjoy. We call them Heart-Attack Sammiches.

No way. The chili will kill the bacon flavor.

Lettuce wraps are tasty. Put Bulgogi and Kimchi in them.

Here are a bunch of mine, all are ancient. I don't have pics of some of my more elaborate creations. I think I'm going to cook some this weekend though, so I'll post some more up.

NY Strip (done in cast iron, of course)

Hamachi Kama (i.e. Grilled yellowtail collar. Leave overnight in salt & sake first)

Short Rib (poached in butter, rested, then seared off in cast iron)

Sanma Shioyaki

Kalbi Short Rib (Banchan obviously not made by me, hence the container)

Just a stupid thing on weeknights, but I love it. Kimchi dogs.

Damn yo! Down in so-cal no one does brisket, I think our equivalent is tri-tip. It's unfortunate because there isn't a whole lot of (food) smokin' going on out here.

I heading to Memphis in a few months and looking forward to some amazing BBQ.

Nice work! I think it's time to take a trip to the downtown LA wholesale fish market.

^ For the record, I tried Chris's Sanma preparation (aka Mackeral Pike) and it was fabulous!

Bought some snapper. I'll see what I can come up with tomorrow.
