About three years ago the local gun show had a UMP45 for sale. That would have been sweet!

I have already tried to get the Chief at my old PD to sale me one of thier vintage Thompsons. But the whole automatic weapon to a civilain thing didnt go over real well. I dont think the fed even knows about them. They have been sealed in a vault since before I was born.

Man, I'd love one of those with a folding stock and a weaver-mounted-grip out front. All sorts of concealable noisy rapid-fire fun...STICK IT CLINTON!

Thing is, it was a civilian version. It had a different designation. But I mean a UMP45 is a UMP45. I am assuming the on difference was that is was semi only, and mag capacity.
