I think Faux Fender Vents rank right behind wheel spinners as the cheesiest car accesories out there. Why would anyone want to make their car look like a Buick.

That's one expensive buick.

(I agree completely, though...faux fender vents are horrible)

Along the lines of cheesy car styling and excess chrome...

What I find amusing is the Koreans have copied so many european designs, I have caught myself admiring the latest and greatest Kias, only to find out they're Jaguars or Mercedes Benz' products.

I agree 100%And it's not even limited to the Koreans.

Look at Lexus. You would think that a brand with their prestige and financial resources could come up with some of their own designs...Yet their early models were Mercedes Benz carbon copies, and the new ones are still unrepentant ripoffs of some euro sedan or another.

Lexus LS460 and BMW 760li:

And overlaid:

Silhouette is IDENTICAL down to the lip spoiler!!Of course the Lexus is nowhere near as beautiful as the 7 (What with the Pontiac rear doors [yech] and whatever the crap that is going on on the lower door sills among other things). But it's still a blatant ripoff.
