I have a 2010 Altima coupe that is having ac issues. The AC suddenly stopped getting cold, so I started checking around and figured out the clutch was not engaging on the compressor. I pulled the connecter at the compressor going to the clutch and checked voltage across the 2 pins. I had 0 volts when the AC button was off and 12 volts when I turned the AC button on in the cab. Is this the correct way to check for voltage at the clutch plug? Should I be checking voltage on each pin instead?
Anything else I should be checking? Any other ways to verify the ac clutch went bad? would checking continuity on the clutch tell me anything?
Thanks
