I had the luxury of my tpms sensor coming on this morning displaying a low tire pressure. I went to the manual and it says that you can check the pressure of all tires on the display screen. Then it refers me to see Tire Pressure Info. in the Display screen, heater, ac, and audio systems section. I went to that section but did not see anything mentioned about Tire pressure info.

Does anyone know how to use this feature of check tire pressure on the display screen? Your help would be much appreciated.

welcome to nico.

i'd recommend doing it the old fashioned way with a tire pressure gauge. if your TPMS sensor is on, then your tires need air. if your x is anything like my frontier (which it should be), the light comes on only when its at least 10-15 psi low. don't keep driving without filling the tires up to the recommended psi.

Actually, I think it might be different for individual XTerras. My TPS alarm comes on once my tire pressure drops below 30psi. Normal pressure for my tires is 35psi. (Yes, they are stock size tires)

Check it manually, fill up to 35 - 36 psi and drive it for about 15 minutes. The light should go off by itself. If it doesn't (assuming you also have stock size tires), your sensor may be faulty.
