hey guys, my ca18 has been going great, until other week when my sump had a little bit to much contact to the road surface (sits low in the datto 510 engine bay) so decided to pull it out and modify the sump to a lifted and winged out style to prevent further issues. its done maybe 7000kms or so on a full forged and blueprinted rebuild including CP's & australian SPOOL H beam rods, these come fitted with the ARP 2000 3/8 bolts, heres my questions to you guys....what would i torque these up to? 45ft lbs? and whats the correct procedure for checking bearing condition and refitting the conrod end caps and retorqueing? so far iv just popd off the #3 big end cap to check on the condition of the bigend bearing/'s as its had a very hard 7000kms of abuse...so i figured i may as well see how the ACL race bearings have held up thus far as have heard mix reviews on them since fitting them few years back (doesnt get driven much but when it does its boost hard) so far #3 looks allgood to me... as in it still looks pretty grey white with nothing more than a couple of light scuff marks but nothing out of ordinary or anything showing on journal, and nothing on bearing showing any copper coloring or anything. this sound typical? and should i bother to check the others ? oh by the way it has never made any weird knocks or anything like that and has good pressure etc. i was just being nosey while sump was off

If you're going to have issues with the bottom end in some way, it would show up on the #3 rod bearing. If that one looks good, then you're fine. As for Tq specs on the bolts, I used the OEM spec.
