when installing my main bearings with stock main bolts i checked the main bearing clearance and came up with .0015" (1 1/2 thousandths)

When i was doing the final torque on the main bolts one of them snapped.... so i removed the broken bolt and decided to get a set of arp main studs.

Question is... should i re-check main bearing clearance's again or should it be the same when switching to the arp hardware?

Should be the same, but checking again is free.

Check it again.Because if you spin a bearing in a couple weeks you'll be kickign yourself in the a$$. If you have to ask yourself if you should do something, then you should do it.
