What is a easy way to check to see if a valve is bent?

I was thinking of putting it in a drill and looking for a wobble. Anyone know any good ways?!?!

One way would be to use a platen tool. Basically a metal plate that is flat to within .001" or better. Then roll the valves on the plate and search for a gap with the thinnest feeler gauge you can find (or just look for backlight through any cracks). You can also use a dial gauge and v-block to check for any run-out along the length of the valve.
