Sup everyone I was wondering how can I find out if my car runs ABS? I've been trying to find out it's a 93 240sx Coupe Base model non SE.

do drive somewhere on a backroad or something, go about 35, and STOMP on your brake pedal...if it vibrates wierd as heck, you have abs...

yeah, the quadrangular restitution of your head bolt gaskets are skewed as per the master spec.

the model number will tell you. Look under the hood of the car on the passenger side firewall. one of the digits (14-18, don't remember which) has a code for it. It's been posted here, you could find it with a search but it'll take you a little while. If the model number just has '----' near the end you don't have ABS/VLSD.

I test cars for ABS by going really fast then slamming on the brakes, no black marks ABS, black marks no ABS proceed with tomfoolery.

another good way is to pop the hood and find the abs valve assembly.

You're no fun:( Yeah but that big chunk of metal on the firewall with all the brakelines coming out of it is sort of a giveaway.

i dont think i gave it up. if hes asking how to check for abs he probably has no idea what the actuator is for, let alone that there brake lines... :D
