Hi guys,

I have a 2003 G35 automatic coupe. I understand when checking the fluid level that the engine must be at normal operating temperatures. Where do i refer to on the dipstick? There is the word "hot" with 2 little cuts in the rod and then there is a section boxed off with crosses? Which one should i look at when checking the fluid to ensure that the fluid level is correct.

Kind regards

If you havent been driving, the reading should be in the cold range.
