checking a vlsd for problems

hey guys

i found a vlsd off a 240sx in a junkyard near me, they wanted 350$ for it so i was wondering if thats worth it for that price.. depending on mileage huh? (ill check on that later)

anyway if i went there to check it out what could i look for as far as potential problems with it? i dont wanna buy a junked vlsd for 350$ and have a freaking heavy paperweight..
