checked fuel pressure

today i checked my fuel pressure. i noticed that at idle i have 38psi and when i rev it the pressure drops to 32-34ish. is the idle pressure too high? isnt pressure supposed to increase as i apply throttle?

stupid me forgot to check the pressure with the vaccum line off the regulator. i will borrow the gauge from my friend again in tuesday.

can anyone tell me how yours read when you tested it?

It should be 34psi when idling with the vacuum hooked up.

43psi when the fuel pump is on and the engine is off.

this is according the FSM for a 1995 240sx.
