I finally went out to start working on my vert this past weekend. First I pulled the black tape off that splits the body line. It looks much cleaner without it. I also cleaned all the brake dust from the neglected wheels and revealed all the scratches . I have had an annoying wheel wobble and figured it was either a bad tie rod or an unbalanced wheel. I was wrong on both. Grabbed the wheel and shook it and it wobbled. Jacked the car up and did it again and it wobbled alot. . Popped the hub cap off and discovered the wheel bearing lock nut was only being held on by the cotter pin.Check your nuts

strangely enough.. here I was thinking of another set of nuts

Funny thing is that I almost had a wheel come off on me once. My issue was old worn out lugs. Two of them had snapped right off, so my wheel was only hanging on by two lugs.

When I first got my new wheels I tried putting em on before work. Ran out of time so I only had the fronts on. I got about a mile before I remembered I forgot to tighten the lug nuts after I dropped the car

That's pretty unusual. That nut is the biggest nut you can find on 240sx and it's torqued down with 100lb+. I hope splines are okay.
