The reason for going there was to see what it would cost to get the front and rear brake lines from my Ninja made in Coated Braided Stainless.
There is a kit available for $118 shipped, but this seemed too much to me.
I go in. Wait in line, one of the techs asks what I need. I present the hoses to him and ask for a quote to have them remade in braided stainless. He takes the hoses. Measures them and then takes down some numbers. He then asks if I want coated or uncoated. I chose coated as these lines come in contact with painted surfaces and don't want them to rub through.
I take the paper that he scribbled the numbers on to the sales desk. Price is $52.xx total! So I put in the order. I have to go back tomorrow to pick them up as they didn't have the size fittings that were needed on hand.
I did ask for stainless fittings, but they didn't offer them
So, if any of you racers or bikers that want/need stainless lines want to save a few bucks, take them into your local commercial hose supply house. You may be pleasantly surprised.

I'll let you use one of my hose at JCCS.
