After a few weeks of searching and speaking to tons of dealers, I've finally found a dealer in a major city in eastern Alabama that was able to help with getting some information on my V. What's the name of the dealership? That's what I can't give out. Part of our agreement was that I wouldn't release the dealer name or person who did it for me to prevent a rush of people contacting them via email about the status of their order. But that's not the point of the topic. Attached you'll find the print out that I received for my car. It shows all the information for my vehicle including order and VIN number. Rail dates, ship dates, current status, everything. If your dealer acts like he doesn't know what happened to your vehicle or he doesn't know where it's located, this is proof that they should know. This dealer all the way in Alabama was able to check on a sale in Houston, TX. Since the dealer site is a North American site, the Canadians should be able to check with US dealers but I'm not sure of this. There are THOUSANDS of honest hard working Nissan dealers all across the country and at least a few near you. There should be no reason why you should work with a dealer that doesn't want to work with you. Your dealer may not give you the print out, but they shouldn't act like they don't know what's going on.
As a side note, I'm glad I got this document. It looks like the dealer threw in some splash guards even though I told him I didn't want them (didn't want to pay for them). I already have a contract at 14k even so it's a bonus for me . I've edited the important bit to help protect my car.
