Hey everyone. I am new to the boards and this will be my first post... anyways I am interested in buying a 240SX and need some help. I don't know much about these wonderful cars, but am looking to expand my knowledge, Anyways. I need your help in explaining the parts on this car right here:

I really really like this car, and think if i were to begin saving for one, i would want it to be like this (with my own touches of course) Anyways, from what I have learned today, it is a 1990 240SX with a front end swap. I was just curious what parts this car contains specifically and any other info i would need to create my own version of this same car. Thanks SO much.

Its a 240 coupe for starters. Coupes are rarer than hatches. It has a S13 silvia front end with triple projector headlights stock on the K's. . Coupes were made from 89-93. Thats pretty much all I can tell you. Good luck finding one. Keep browsing the board and don't jump into it. Do your research.

also, if you dont intent to do a motor swap in the near future, i would go with a 91- 93 model, as they came with a DOHC engine, not the SOHC that came in the 89-90

Just looking at the exterior, I can guesstimate that car as having probably around 10k into it. Assuming it has some worthwhile mods to back up the exterior mods. So after you have 10 grand to spend on mods, then you can have a car that looks like that.

Silvia Front end conversion - $800-900 + labor + painting

Body kit, can't tell which one, minimum $600 + labor

Rims -- can't tell brand but based on his old ones, probably over $1500 new

At least springs, maybe coilovers - $300 to $2000 no way to tell

That's a very brief overview and just the main components that you know are on the car. Its well done and should have took many years and a lot of money. These cars are not meant to be done quickly and cheaply if they are done right.

The front looks like an R33 style bumper. Its a replica of the front bumper from the R33 Skyline GTR.

what sort of lowering gives the car the forward slanted look? i really like this car alot, but it just seems alot different from the others, i just cant put my finger on it though... its badass and the guys on the 240sxforums think its got the r33 front as well... now my only deal is the side and different views... some of the car seems to be curvier than most of the pics i have seen... any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated
