ok guys i lost my car keys and i have no spare so i left my car in church and i would like to know how to hot wire my car so i can at least drive it home and make a key there if anyone can help me im new with a 240sx 1995 (thats the car i lost my keys too) could u tell me whitch wires i put to wat to make a spark and start the car im kinda desperat cuz i asked a bunch of kids who i thought took it and im empty handed thanx i appricat it alot

There was a thread where someone needed another copy of his key, but i forgot the name of the thread. All you need to do is bring the VIN and proof of ownership to the dealer and they will cut you a new key.

I would do that instead of going through the trouble of hot wiring the car.

Even if you can start your car, your steering wheel lock will prevent you from turnning... Anyhoo, here's what you need to do.

On your steering column, take off the black trim that is housing your key hole. Behind the key assembly is a white plastic box with about 5 or so large wires going into it. Unscrew it with a regular phillips screw driver. Once that's off, pull it out and stick a flat head screw driver in the little groove. Turn clockwise to start.

I did just that for mine. went to a dealership with my registration, and ID and they cut me a key in about 10 minutes. Better than ruining your ignition.

ohh thanx guys i dont need to do that anyway the chick gave me back her keys she apperently put them in her purse lol........but for futer referace thanx guys ; )
