Hello,While checking out M reviews, I stumbled upon this review with comments from owners. http://www1.epinions.com/content_79515389572 Not exactly a glowing review. The owners stood up though. It was written by the True Delta reliability gentlemen.Cheers,M.L

Check the Auotoweek short review. They do get it.

However, most of Kardesh's criticism's are valid.

Everytime I see one, I wonder what would happen with the rear axle center line about 4 inches (110 mm) further aft.

Did he have to say the following:

"Some people might be interested to know that Nissan is 44% owned by Renault, which is 26% owned by the French government. As a result, about 11% fo the profits from any Nissan or Infiniti go to the French goverment. "

I HAVE A RENAULT IN STORAGE!!!

I'm trading this M45 in for something else along with my renault damn!!

Hello,I suppose my main issue is the two star rating. I understand it might not have been a segment leader, but, two stars is way too harsh. Especially with a Oldsmobile Aurora warranting four. Also, there seemed to be a snarky undercurrent to his responses. Perhaps the French comment had to do with the strong anti french sentiment a few years back. I wonder if some people are still calling French Fries Freedom Fries ? Cakedaddy, free the Le' Car!Cheers, mark

He was pretty harsh on the M. I have to say in all honesty that the M is a great car, and the best bang for its buck in the class. I cant seem to see why he is sooo pissed off at it! I think it may be the French thing as well. is that even true? I have a hard time thinking that it is... haha Interesting none the less.

Hello,,Kyle, if the question is the ownership status of Nissan/Infiniti, the French government does own a stake. Same with Airbus. I was surprised by the tone as well. At the time, the car was decidedly class competitive. Interior packaging was not a strong suit. I like it though.Cheers,Mark

So he slammed the M. Oh well. Much of what he said is true, but he is nit picking. No car is 100% perfect. One of the few things I do not like on the M is it starts to get a little loose handling over 110MPH. Maybe its me. All the rest of his complaints are like complaining if your house is painted white or off white. Who Cares?

Hello,High speed stability has been solid for me. I drove across Montana a year ago and was able to drive at 100+ for hours without feeling the car was drifting. What kind of tires are you using on your car? I am still using the O.E.M Pilot's. Again, my only issue was a two star rating being absurd. Then again, this was not a conventional article. More like a test drive.Cheers,M.L

I'm with you. I really don't care about his rating. I was coming back from Canada and everytime I got to the 110-120 mark I started to feel a little edgy. I am still running the OEM tires.

It more than likely me. I usually don't run those speeds. Maybe I was looking out for the police and was getting nervous as I was far exceeding the speed limits. Generally up to 100mph its nice and smooth and I don't even know I am going that fast.

But I did make it from Canada to CT in under 6 hours. I averaged close to 75mph so I am not really complaining. Just glad I didn't get stopped and spend some time in one of the local jails.

The M was just awesome in traffic when I went from 80 to 120MPH to get past some slower cars. The car nor the motor missed a beat. I think my wife missed several. Ironically towards the end of the trip she was so focused on the Garmin and total elapsed time and speed she keep pushing me to go faster. It was my pleasure to stay focused and motor on.

At this point, your tires are too old to be safe at speed - rubber hardens over time - regardless of how much tread is left. Please change them out ...

I can't wait to get this thing down the Merrit parkway on a cool Sunday morning or come across on 84 from NY....

I have done both. The Merritt is nice if you like some high speeds turns and hills. The M gets a good all around workout on that road. Its not fun if traffic is heavy though. The 84 route lets you have some full throttle time.

Watch out for the troopers.

Now shozain has me worried about my tires. Maybe I need to slow down a little.
