Saw this nice 1993 s13 on craigslist. its one of the few s13s in my area, and the seller claims to be the original owner. It appears to be completely stock besides the taillights, and it has new brakes, seats and seat rails, and a new clutch. It only has a little over 100k on it, and he wants $9,750, which I think is reasonable because its COMPLETELY unmolested. I might be able to offer a little bit low because it doesn't have the stock tails. Should I go for it? If so, what else can I use as leverage to offer lower? I've attached some pics below:

Proof he/she is the original owner, a lengthy and quite comprehensive service history (with receipts and repair orders), car fax (although not a truly reliable source, but good to have), and all documentation in hand is what I could see someone even thinking of asking that much for the car. Check the VIN for original color, options, and service history. Do a thorough walk around (preferably with a magnet) and look for any body damage/repairs. Set-up an appointment with a dealer for a multi-point inspection and take it there on the test drive (with the vehicle's owner approval). The tech might let you under the car while he does his inspection. Check under-hood fluids for color and odor. Engine oil that is dirty even after a fresh oil change is indicative of poor prior maintenance. Coolant color is the same. Might have just done a service, but if fluid is still brownish, there's probably rust in the system.

That's pretty damn high.
You could definitely toss him a lower offer and see what he says, which will probably be no, and then just give him your number and tell him to call you if he changes his mind.

What's wrong with that S14 in Snohomish? I assume something is wrong with it because it's so cheap. But man, it's cheap and it's a '95!

That's REALLY high, even for an unmolested car. You can buy one with an SR or RB swap that looks just as good for that price.
