Ever seen this thing:

Owner is a regular over on the Teckademics forums. He just took delivery of an F430 Spider, to replace the F430 hardtop he had owned for three months to "tide him over until his spider arrived".

ri-damned-diculous.

You're sure that Beemer is photoshopped? It looks a little CG. If not, wow...

You can have plastic "chrome" pieces that appear the same as metal chrome, I mean havent you seen the fake spinner hub caps and other kinds? Its not chrome, but it looks just like it...

Yeah, definitely not photoshopped, I've seen the car in person a couple of times. On a sunny day....well...it's just best to avert your eyes, lol.

The car isn't really my cup of tea, but he spent a gawdawful amount of money building it, and it's very nice.

Good Morning Davis!

I think that would be awesome on a S13. But it would be kinda like the DeLorean somehow.

that car is cool, but i feel confident calling the owner a douche bag, and i have no idea who he/she is. fail for not putting m3 gtr body work on it.

Thats gotta be illegal for a street car.

Its a chrome paint, and I think I remember it being $1800 a gallon.

It takes alot of work to do though, because you have to paint the entire car gloss black with clearcoat first, then colorsand and buff it perfectly smooth, then paint the chrome, then more clean, and sand and buff again.

I've seen most of these before. There was a whole progress thread on the M3 on Bimmerforums when I used to own an E36 M3.

The paint has like 90% of the reflectability of chrome IIRC.

Wow, that chrome A8 looks cool. And its the newest version, which I think is an gorgeous car to begin with. Maybe cause its aluminum or something, but I think it fits the big sedan better than the M3 or S15.

I like the first one. The whole redneck thing makes it humorous.

Apparently that Arabian with the A8 is afraid of being carjacked by werewolves.
