Interesting to see what 120,000 gets you, as opposed to a "measely" 50,000 for our Qs, in 95...

I still prefer the Q leather door panel, to the mercedes.. The Q is the only car I've ever seen, where the whole door panel is leather..

The bottom part of the benz door, has suede... nice touch..

Also the middle console has leather stitching (nice)

Two tone leather seats are a nice touch

Dash doesn't appear to be leather... The wood doesn't look any nicer then my friends JAG...

I bet it's a divine highway car... and DAMN fast.. A while back my friend engaged an older sl600 in his xjr.. He was owning it, until about 80.. then it passed him, like he was standing still.. Nice big German V12 :)

If it was 10,000 it would be a killer deal.. you need to save that 10,000 for maintenence, those v12s are really cramped in the engine bay..

There is a reason why 90% of the worlds government choose S classes for transportation..

The new ones are equiped with V12 twin turbo :)

That car is nice but the driver's seat has some white wear lines on it...but then again so does my car.

it's nice... Question is, how much.

Take a 1995 Q45A, and compare it with that car.. Is it literally twice (and then some) nicer... 70,000+ nicer??

I agree with AZ... it may be "nicer" but is it THAT much nicer...

For that money I could have a PRISTINE active G50, spend 4 grand on maintenance, and have enough left over for a supercharger... :D

Does anyone find the door panels in the Q, as divine as I do? Really when I get into any car, I'm looking at the door panels, and comparing them :)

Q has a ton of leather.. too bad they couldn't throw some in on the dash, for the helluva it..

If you look at that 7, it really has a nicer middle console... That's what the Q lacks.. they did improve it in 94.. Can't believe they expected you to keep that thing open, when you were using the rigged cup holders... hilarous

Agreed... The center console on the Q just looks like it was thrown in there, very contrasting to how well the rest of the interior flows...

Most german cars dont have cup holders.....!!! Ill keep my quasi-cup holders, even if the console has to stay open...

Has anyone noticed how different the interior looks from the passenger side. The driver feels at home, and the passenger feels secluded in their own litlte world..... Not bad, but still interesting.....

750... what a supreme vehicle... So much rear legroom.. It came with footrests.

I totally agree about the driver/passanger enviroments.. The Q was clearly geared to the driver... Very similar to the MKIV supras... It surronds you, and wraps you in, like a fighter ****pit or something... I also notice, how nice it is to be driven around in the Q.. you don't notice any of the driver elements.. gear changings, engine idleing, everything seems smoother from the passanger seat.. The Q has one of my all time favorite driver enviroments.. It was just made for the driver.. everything is so ergo.. I love driving and resting my hand on the shifter.. Perfect distance for adjusting the stereo and or hvac controls.. I like how there is nice distance between the driver/passanger "zones". I like that feeling of being sequestered.. Having the rounded dash, also added legroom for the front passenger, which is good for anyone sitting in the back. The Q was one of the only cars of its time to actually have a nice rounded, curved dash.. definetely one of my most favorite items.

The S600 was probably the best engineered car ever made, short of the Porsche 959. It would run 13.7 in the quarter at over 5000lbs!

Anyone reflect that on depreciation alone, this car has cost the owner $1/mile? Hope the price skyrockets, but it probably won't as the MB V12 is way more complex than a BMW V12, and probably costs twice what the car is worth for any major work.
