I’ve got a used 240sx and obviously it was owned by a POS owner because the pour baby was all nasty inside and need's tons of TLC. One of the things I need to replace is defiantly the dash trim since it looks like the guy doesn't know what armor all is and the dash looks like it was sitting in the desert for years. Well in my search on the forums I didn't find any good links and I found this site that has tons of options for finishes and a really great price.

I thought I would pass this little find along.they have other cars too.

on another note. what would be the best way to bring the life back to the faded dash. i'm hoping a fw coats of armor all will help bring some life back to the dash. i know when i change the plastic trim that the dash is going to be the bad looking part of the interior next to the carpet.

or you could go to a local junkyard and get them interior parts... it's pretty cheap... i converted my brown interior to black for under 100

Personally, I like the aluminum color posted below...I am debating on whether to go with this or the carbon fiber trim for my RB26 240SX.

I never did, not after I saw them installed. It looks like 2mm thick sticker on top of your original trim pieces...I was not impressed...

Eh if you want it to not look like a sticker, take the plastic pieces out, clean them very very well, prime thoroughly, 3-4 layers of paint, 2-3 layers of clearcoat, and make sure you let it dry for a while, looks darn nice, I'll post some pics of mine when I get a chance.

I haven't check this company much...but most are just printed patterns with some "rubber vynil" on top.... You can usually tell just by the photos....

if you guys know how to fiberglass well..you can do some totally custom stuff... Take out your panels and sand them down, and manually overlay real Carbon Fiber over it for a totally wrapped panel.here is a site...http://www.carb.com/supersuperspecials.html

you can get real carbon fiber for around $25 a linear yard (thats 50"x36") two yards whould be more than enough to do all panels in the 240. Heck...you could prolly order 3 linear yards and cover the entire dash in carbon fiber. Jus give these guys a call. they seem to have a HUGE selection
