My clock froze to death shortly after I brought the car to Canada. The battery died one day and when I went to adjust the clock after giving the car a boost, one of the clock hands moved while the other started to and then stopped in the wrong spot. So when the time was 12;00 o'clock, the small hand was pointing in between the 12 and 1. When I finally took out the clock, I manually used my fingures to adjust the small hand the clock has continued to work perfectly ever since. I have found that my clock has been very reliable. I wonder what the problem with your clock is?ozzie! wrote:I'm curious to know, what is it about the Q clocks that make them die?
Mine has never worked, and I noticed a lot of people tend to look for replacements, so I assume it's a common fault....
Probably should find one for myself before I replace the gauge cluster with LEDs, so I can replace the clock at the same time......

Hey what do you guys think about the black face (the part with the four screws) from the 1990-1992 Q45 clock on a gold and white 1993-1996 Q45 clock?lino wrote:Here are pics of the 2 different clocks that I have seen for the G50. The early version and later version:
