I came across this picture of a 1JZ motor sitting in an S13 engine bay. As you can see with the stock KA crossmember the mounts on the 1JZ are foward of the crossmember.

Now check out the RB25 motor and crossmember

are you suggesting the jz might fit onto a rb25 crossmember? that might be sexy

looks like the r32 xmember would allow for it to fit right in...

its been done using the r33 crossmemeber i believe but I've atleast seen the 1 and 2jz s14

The lower half of the tophat mounts wouldmake up that difference exactly, it looks like.

Agreed... now somebody do it! Just make your own mounts... it's really not that hard...

I am planing on trying it out. I am not sure if the height or angle of the mounts will be right though.
