Looks pretty cool,

Can't find a set for the 1995 Sentra SE-R's to go into my 98 SR20DET. Man, I really wanted to try these out.

Hey, it's cool that someone is trying to be creative and make better stuff, but that doesn't meant they're gonna work better. They should have done some research into how a spark works before they tried sparking between two blunt surfaces.

Some of those look poor, others look like they could work quite well. By not throwing the electrode over the tip of the sparkplug they help unshroud the spark and avoid creating a hotspot in the combustion chamber. The problem with some of those is... how do you set the gap with some of those designs?

I think all those types of plugs come with the gap preset.

Ya, thats kinda my point. I wonder if they keep their efficiency under high boost.

I found those when I was looking for some spark plugs. Some guy actually did a whole write up on popular spark plugs and he found these to be the best so far. He used them in a Rotory if it matters.

How did he determine they were the "best"?

They are unshrouded which means they will have a greater tendency to get "blown out" under boost, which creates misfiring at the cost of benefiting flame front propagation (which is why he thought the plugs were great more than likely, since he is using a very inefficient rotary engine).

The electrodes are far away from the tip and like it has been mentioned before they are lacking excellent arc-able faces.

It would be interesting to see some dyno results of the difference, from an unbiased source. I remember when split-fire first came out they where supposed to work wonders, I was never sold.

Nismo_Freak, he did multiple tests including track and dyno, although he didn't dyno those specific ones. He also ran about 3-6k miles on them and when he pulled them back out, they were in the best condition still. Stuff like that. Anyway, I'm not saying they are the best, I'm just say'n they look pretty cool and would like to try them myself. To me, I'm always in search of something to help my car just perform a little bit better, in this case, it may worsen performance but atleast I'll know.

Send to [email protected] your current plug - NGK, etc to get cross over Brisk plugs.
