My instructor says it doesn't display right on IE7. Not sure what was on the lab computers but it looked fine on that IE and in Firefox. Luckily he graded it based on the browser that displayed it right

I put a lot of time into it and had a lot of fun but I am XHTMLed out for a while.

It doesn't. On the right hand side, there's just a white space.

Decent site. Alot better than I can do. I give it a thumb up.

I LOVED your website. I don't know much of anything about drums other than Neil Peart is god, BUT your website explained things to me that I never even knew existed (bearing edges for example).

Great site that was well laid out. Reminded me of a well done car restoration webpage. j

In the end, made me want to go buy a set of drums and restore them like you did yours even though I have never picked up a drum stick in my life.

I really enjoyed the website and I also liked how the text flowed well around the cool background.

The only thing that very slightly bugged me was that I wished there was a next and a back button at the bottom of each page instead of the full button bar. (that is just me nitpicking.)

The assignment required that I have a link back to each page.

I created the backgrounds in gimp and all of it is original. I drew all the skulls and bones and stuff. Some of the guys that design this site "whipped up" some examples to show me what was possible and I was stunned at how amazing their stuff looked.

You should check out this page:http://www.pagetutor.com/css_tutor/index.html

I dont see any centering rules for the layout itself

Edit, just realized it was members only. But its well worth the money for all the info on his site.

Looks good! Yeah the white space on the side give it an unfinished look. But it looks like a complete website. Keep it up!

I stopped coding hard HTML in notebook, I now use web expression and dreamweaver now. But I still go through the code to make sure it does exactly how I intend it to look or behave.

yeah, I accidentally replied to a thread on my search tabs, instead of gen chat... :ohno:

but, yeah I have a friend who runs a hosting business. He's been bugging me to start my blog/website that I wanted to start up. Soon I am out of school I like to maintain a website...do articles of DIY and odd science tests of understanding... such as how the car works and it's sensors...

I quit using HTML because I like the frame features where you can split a single page to multiple websites. But I learned it's mostly frown upon and outdated. Web expression and dreamweaver has something called layering. So it appears you are loading a link, but actually it's just telling to be visible or not. Good example of this is this website, if you highlight(put your mouse over) one of the buttons on the header a menu shows up.

Wow. I'm gonna link this to my father in law. He loves wood working and has been building guitars. Maybe he'll branch out into drums!

Thanks for dragging this up!
