Well, certainly having MS isn't great news, but we've PM'ed back and forth on it a couple of times, and she's doing much better now that she's diagnosed and being properly treated. In fact, one of the main purposes of the organization he's raising funds for is to get information out there about the disease and its treatments and outcomes, both for people with MS and the people around them, and for the rest of us also. Often people suffer from symptoms and get misdiagnosed multiple times, sometimes for years, and then are not well-informed by their health care providers. One of my friends who found out about hers last year was absolutely terrified until I put her in touch with another friend who's been coping with MS for 15+ years.joe603 wrote:Thanks man...very sad news.

Most generous. You are definitely "kind of a big deal" in my book!IBCoupe wrote:Got you up to $600, Steve. Good luck, mate!
Hey, I'm gainfully employed and climbing the social ladder to be more so. I figure that there are enough people in bad spots that want to give that I should do so in their stead. Think of that as being from me and a handful of NICOnauts who couldn't give.Mudgen wrote:Most generous. You are definitely "kind of a big deal" in my book!IBCoupe wrote:Got you up to $600, Steve.
