all i had was the carpet, then the spare... $7



damn hud isnt working, a temp solution though. ill eventually buy or fix my hud



i got the tcu for $8, id like to see the insides of my car at night... kinda sucks guessing when to shift, haha.

what a pain in the *** to take out the cluster harness. the two inner plugs are WAY in there. took about an hour to take apart off the dash and finally unplug the inner harnesses.

QUESTION

ive read that the tcu blow out quite often on coupes. before i put in the new one, is there anything i should do to prevent this one from blowing out ? thanks

yeah i heard they blow a lot when putting in aftermarket radios....the TCU in my 90 is blown too, and I have a new one sitting around waiting to put it in, but i haven't put in my new radio yet.....let me know what you find out

just disconnect your neg. on your battery before you install your head unit and you won't blow anything.

uhh... little more complicated than that. it has to do something with the amps and stuff. its like you have to bypass them.

but i awnt to know WHY does it keep blowing... like a reason why when you put in an aftermarket headunit, it blows the tcu...

shouldn't you know how to shift, even without seeing the RPMs? I know when to shift by sound, the feel of the gas pedal and the car, and yeah.
