you should ask what you want to do with it(autox, drift, drag, nice street driver, etc), describe your car, add pictures, tell us your budget, and use the search.

Nice find though. How many miles are on it? Is it good running condition?

I don't think you'll get very far in your Silvia front end conversion with only $2000. You'll spend about half of that just acquiring the parts to do it. Then to paint the whole car will cost you about $2000-4000. As always, you get what you pay for, especially when it comes to paint.

funny how first thing you mention was a S13 face.

I would go suspension mods first. cheaper when compared with other mods like engine or aesthetic mods.

If you only have 2 grand, don't waste it on a Silvia front end, get a 91-94 bumper from a junk yard and spend the rest on suspension / engine mods. If you have the facilities and abilities(hehe, I rhyme! :D ), possibly even a cheaper (CA18/SR20/RB20) swap. Being fast beats looking fast any day. ;)

$2000 will get you a decent suspension setup with LSD...but that's about it. It won't get a motor swapped in, not even a CA, certainly not an SR or RB. You should tune it up first; make sure all the maintenance is up to date. Then I'd get a decent spring/shock combo i.e. sportlines on kyb agx, swaybars, strut bars, bushings, vlsd, some decent tires, and maybe intake/exhaust. If you shop around, buy used stuff when possible, and do all the work yourself, you might be able to just barely get that in under $2k. That'll give you a car that's tuned up, handles very well, is a tiny bit faster than a stock 240 and sounds good (since you seem to be interested in the cosmetic side of modifying cars).

why won't 2000 get him a swap exactly? venus auto has rb20 clips for 1200+shipping, and I doubt a ca will go beyond 1000 dollars...what am i missing?

a CA is $1750, shipped, from Venus. For a very basic swap, add hi-flow fuel pump, clutch, all the tune-up parts, fluids, etc etc etc. Trust me, it adds up to waaay over $2000. I have probably $1500 in parts sitting here, and that's in addition to the $1750 I paid for the motor.
