What do you guys think? Should I take the paint off of my intake, and have it repolished?

nice looking engine, your intake DEF. needs polished, it sorta looks outta place with the valve cover, but would match perfect if polished....

I wish my engine looked that clean...

Yea, I would say take the paint off... It WOULD look a lot cleaner with it polished. BTW, nice engine! :D

Yeah. I'm pretty sure that I'm going to strip off the paint and see how she looks. I'm also going to get a red aluminum oil fill cap and eventually some red Magnacore plug wires. That's probably about all I'll have with color. Any suggestions on anything else I can throw chrome on, without overdoing it? I had overdoing color or anything, looks stupid. I was thinking the MAFS would look cool chrome?

it is an Injen w/ CAE painted white. Also, I got the valve cover from a friend who had it done for his S14. After he got it back from the "chroming shop", he noticed that it was a valve cover from a DOHC S13 (bolt holes are a tad different). So I traded around with him a little.

Where is the cheapest place to get an Injen oil fill cap?

Anyone who is looking to get their valve cover chromed like that it runs about $125. I almost had mine done here, there were a few guys in town used to doing the Honda DOHC valve covers and were going to charge me the same thing. I don't think they knew we had such a big-a** valve cover before they quoted me that.... The chrome will always look better than ANY paint job you could do. Jerome, why not take the upper intake manifold off and get it chromed too? It will run you about $100 I think, but that really would top off your engine well.

That looks pretty sweet man.If I ever get through basic mainenance and repairs, making car faster and handle, and getting the exterior straight, then maybe I'll do that.It looks really classy.
