z24 engined 5spd 2wd and UGLY AS SIN!!!

I hate this truck already!! I'm getting it for basically just the cost of title transfer and registration. 247k miles on the meter, and still runs like a champ.

Ye olde farm tractor back up light! Straight outta JC whitney!

I love old junk like this, interesting to see what people did and try and guess why.

For Ex, you can see the bumper blocks part of the license plate... as you see it is standing very close and very high, but if you were sitting at a driver's height, you couldn't see anything but the tops of the characters. NICE!!!

also, about the back up light. The regular lights work perfect! What is the point!!??!!??

love it.

more terrible pics to come later in the weekend.

Phil :D

cant wait that truck is sick a$$!! you gotta work up a mod list on it and submit it to member rides for next month....lol

That must be a load light. Or a warning light to alert drivers following they need to turn their brights off[my personal favorite]

Question for the NISTECH!!1

So I'm looking at the Pinnacle website for some odds & ends parts... see what's what and how much stuff costs.. many items are build date specific according to the site.

If I'm told it's an 85, the reg. and title say '85, but the build date on the placard is 6/84, what year parts should I look for and I wonder what differences I might encounter from 85 to 84???

your pal, the noob :)

its probably an 85 pro date is for finding parts. The final word on year will be in the vin I think its the tenth digit if its the letter E its an 85 if its the letter D its an 84.

I dont know much about pinnacle I am just sporting their banner for them. I work for a dealer in northern california that is to cheap to spend money on advertising and they dont even have a web based parts system. they rely soly on over the counter sales. I had recommended it to a parts manager about 3 months ago he didnt seem to interested but we are on our third parts manager since then. Maybe I'll ask for the job get out of turnin wrench..lol

Damn talk about getting off subject!!!

I tell you, the more I look at this thing, the more I like the faded brown paint and the cracked brown dash and the odd brown vinyl bench seat. What a piece of junk.

I'm gonna jump it. somehow I'll get a video of it.

Most of the pictures don't work..

My uncle has that exact same truck, and to tell you the truth, I love that thing.. is that the 4cyl with the 8 spark plugs?

If you ever want to sell it, I'm interested.. :)

Phatmax, yeah most of the pics I removed from the member's rides as they were all redundant..

Yes it's the 8 spark plug Z24 engine. I had to get it smog tested in order to get it licensed here.. so $340 in parts & labor later, this biatch is tuned & scoots right along.

I love it. Even the smell of old vinyl seats that have been in the sun for too many years. Everything on it works, it's just ugly as sin.

Nissan Motorsport used to sell the twin Mikuni carb kit I'm now searching for.

There's a sick list of mods available, but in short supply and a bit hard to find. All we need is money...

Ugly? I think it looks really good, better than most out there.. but anyways, someone told me the Z24 was in old 300ZX's.. is that right? I know the newer ones had VG.

Man I am looking for a pickup exactly like that right now. I just want an old beater pickup, because right now I can't wait to save for a 240sx Fastback, I need a car right NOW. I need it to be able to get to work, else I will just lose out on $15 an hour : \ But around here I cant seem to find a pickup for a decent price : \
