Can't really see :( You could always pick up new injectors at the junkyard cheap if this is for a KA24E

Yeah, top feeds are KA24E injectors, unless they are CA or RB26 I think it is...as for your crack, unless it damaged something inside its probably nothing to worry about. Only one way to find out though! Go plug it in and see what happens :)

the dirty part is the injector isolator i believe. and the small cracks are ok, those are just spacers to help the rail push down on the injectors to make them seal tight in the manifold and not let them go too deep into the rail. just make sure they don't break when you install them and you'll be ok.

you should get new ones and a new o-ring set before installing them they shouldnt have those cracks in them any way they are dirt cheap to get new o-rings and iso's at an auto parts store, just get the ka ones

it almost looks like they started to dry rot or just break down from fuel getting on them

that black cracked plastic thing is the iso

then there is the o-ring to the fuel rail on top, then the iso goes on

then the seal to the manifold is the bottom seal

so you need to change all 3 when you re-install its just a saftey issue really and the ka already likes to leak at the injectors so wy riskgo to the auto store and get

2 - o=ring kits *(easy to cut the oring if you put it in crooked so if you mess up use a new one)1 - injector seal kit *(harder to mess these up)4 - new isolators (might come in packs of 4 but i doubt it)

and take your time dont force it, and your rail is gonna dump a ton of gas everywhere so be prepared and have a fire exingusher handy just in case , and always disconnect the batt first. and torque to specs or youll crack the mani, rail or an injector more likely the #1 or #4 injector.

sorry this was so long it just kept coming to me.

oh and when you take off the 2 bolts holding the rail on dont drop the 2 washers down in the engine your gonna need those.and take off all the fuel lines before unbolting it.

so i went to kragen today, expecting it to be pretty cheap. 2.49 for a seal kit, which comes with the top and bottom isolator, its what they called it. then 5.99 for each o ring. im like WTF ?! that totals to about $6 + $2.50 = $8.50 x 4 injectors = $34? yeah, i think its $34. damn, i thought it was gonna be like $10 TOTAL ! any one have any suggestions to get cheaper o rings and isolators? thanks.

i dunno man autozone here in ohio had everything for under 20 bucks id still pay the 34 tho your talking about the fuel system so there is no room to be cheap.

cause cheap and half assed = dangerous
