so im shooting for 600 at the wheels in my s14 the bottom end is allready built to handle it, the head is fully p&p, so heres what i figure ill need to get the rest of the way: apex power fc,exh. and int. manifolds,stage 3 cams, titanium retainers and valve springs,cam gears,q45 mafs and tb,a bigger turbo unsure of the size i would need,upgraded fuel rail and injectors according to my math i need roughly 1400cc inj. but am unsure so any help or things that i may need let me know.

600 at the wheels? GT3540R turbo or bigger... good luck at affording a clutch... you may want to consider a trans swap too...

1400cc injectors?!?!?! ...try more like 820's..also the turbo manifold better be a very nice race manifold not a crappy egay piece of junk..im not hatin on those manifolds, i have one myself but im also not looking for 600whp at the moment..the knock off manifolds dont do much more than the stock..same goes for cam gears.. i wouldnt waste my money..i know a guy who put down more than 500whp on his sr on stock cam gears..they just dont really do anything for hp gains..also i would get rid of the hydraulic lash adjuster cam setup and look into a set of solid pivot cams

what kind of transwap is available for the sr's besides the z32 one

i was looking into a gt4088r

i have a triple plate hks clutch sitting in my room

doubt you'll need 1400's but 820's you'd probably be running pretty close to maxing out the injectors. I suggest 1000cc's. Another thing you should probably look into is a stroker as it'll take a while to spool up a GT40 series turbo. The solid pivots would be a very good investment instead of the stock HLA's considering how long you'll need to spend spooling the bugger up.

Here's something to think about though. An RB26DETT can spool up a t51r (GT42) at 5500, you should expect a ballpark figure of 5-6k before you start to spool up that gt40...

You should be able to use a t88 and hit 550 without too much drama. if you're open to other alternatives.

well i was looking at the full race web site and they have a t4/t67 turbo they say is pretty good and good to 700 but has any buddy on here used that kind of turbo size or is that bigger then the 4088?

I've seen a t51r kai on a 2.2L stroked SR. That was putting 600whp with solid pivots, hks cams, tomei stroker, with 1000cc injectors and a conservative tune.

700 on an sr with just a t67? I'm a bit skeptical. t88 > t67

dont get me wrong, i love the SR... but trying to pull 600 out on a personal measure is not something i'd want to do. I always saw the SR as a motor to pull a quick 3-400 out of and call it a day. If you want big power, think 2jz, RB25/RB26, or my personal favorite... 327sb chevy (vette motor). I know the SR can pull out 600, but the cost is great and i dont know how accomplished you'll feel after spending your life savings doing it.

a guy i know supposedly successfully swap a g35 trans onto an SR
