This is my 1995 Nissan 240 S14

For My build it was to be a budget build, and i have been saving some parts from Rx-7's that i picked up at the junk yard. Thats why you see a lot of Rx-7 parts here.

SPecsCustom REbuild KA24DE Using parts from both an 1995 S14 and a 1992 S13Turbo of an Rx-7Rx-7 stock wastegate (8 psi) + HKS Standard wastegate (14.7 psi) for track daysCustom Log exhaust manifoldCustom downpipe + exhaust pipingCustom intercooler pipingNo Brand IntercoolerUsing stock maf in a blowthrough type setupBOV of an Rx-7Aftermarket fuel rail550cc injectors out of an Rx-7NGK spark plug wiresNGK Iridium Spark plugsMegasquirt I PCB V3.0 Running Fuel Only setupCustom oil lines for turbo

For the engine rebuild i went with stock everything. I check and double check to make sure everything was in spec. I ended up just putting new rings in, honing the cylinders, and putting an oem full gasket kit in.

Now here are pics and movies

Nice man. Looks good! Congrats on getting the Mega Squirt up and running. Everyone is always saying how difficult it is to get going.

So were you going for a budget build? Or did you just happen to have all those parts laying around? And how far did you go with the motor? I can't tell by the pics. Any internals changed?

But awesome job man! I think we're going to see more and more Boosted KA's hitting the streets soon.

Yes it was a budget build and i have been gathering Rx-7 parts over the years for a build + they sell great. For the motor I ended up just puttin new rings in cause everything else was within spec. Also used a full oem gasket kit.

Your going to want to watch your IAT's really closely. You do have the GM open element IAT sensor wired in with MS right?

Most stock turbos run out of juice at about 14-15 psi and become heat pumps. Overheated compressed air leads to detonation pretty quick. So when you go to run higher boost just keep a close eye on it.

Gratz getting MS to work! Shoulda done MS2 tho mang

actually im runnin the stock IAT, coolant temp sensors, and used easy therm to adjust settings. Also this is an Rx-7 turbo off of an S5 TII. If you don't know about them then check it up. RX-7 turbos are awesome, but thx for the info ill keep watch.
