My check engine light went out a few days ago and i went to read the code and it went off and gave me 55=all OK.yesterday it came back on but it has been flashing randomly.i cant go read for the code cuz it keeps going out.any ideas? gotta pass inspection soon.

could you rent a scanner (Oreily's does it for free, just put down like a $350 deposite that you get it all back when you bring it back) and take it for a drive with it hooked up?
