I hope someone could help me there.

i have a check engine that always comes up and the code error says very small leak detected... is it on my muffler?? is it findable (since its a very small leak) or I should change the whole muffler line

What is the code? And how long has it been happening? How many miles on the car?

the code is P0456, its been happening for a year now and the car is at 132 000 KM

Nothing to do with the muffler - it's related to your EVAP system. You have a small breach in the vacuum lines from your fuel tank to the charcoal canister to your intake. Purge valve and/or canister vent valve could be bad, canister could have a crack, gas cap could be faulty or loose, fuel tank could be leaking, or a cracked hose. The code is thrown when the EVAP system performs a leak test by closing the normally open valves to check vacuum. It doesn't take much of a hole or crack to set the DTC.

Also, when you fill up make sure you don't "top off" by repeatedly squeezing the gas nozzle. Excess fuel can get into the vapor lines and cause problems with your control valves. When the nozzle clicks the first time - stop filling up.

I'm one of those guys that tops off the tank, I am guessing I should stop doing that.

I did it for a while and then stopped for a few years and recently catch myself doing it again. Will need to be better lol.
