CHECK ENGINE

i just bought my vert and the check engine light wont go off. Is there any usual problems with the verts that cause the check engine light to stay on? any help would b great guys.

just the same as any other 240's nothing specific to the verts. you can check the codes manually with a flat screwdriver by unbolting the ECU from the passenger side kick panel and turning the side facing the firewall towards you and with key in on position but engine off turn the screw all the way over for 2 sec then back to original position... you will then see the CEL flashing as well as the red led on the ECU. these codes designate a certain sensor somewhere so just google the code meanings.
