I was driving today, and my check engine light turned on... can anyone help me out on why it did that?? and what i can do to solve the probllem help asap..

i don't know if it is the same in an s13, but i have an s14 and i can check my CEL using the following: on the passenger side kick panel, there is the ECU. on the ecu is a screw looking thing. you need to turn the screw and then turn the key to the on position. or visa versa, turn to on and then turn the screw. the check engine light and a little red LED will blink out your error codes. if you can get this far, you need to look up a field manual or chilton's to get the exact codes.
