Check Engine (P0455) - EVAP System

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

The Service Engine Soon light came up today. The computer code was P0455 referring to the Service EVAP control system. The diagnosis detects a "very large" leak in the system between the fuel tank and the EVAP canister purge control valve.

Has anyone experienced such issue? Any idea or recommendation about repair cost? I read that it could range between a simple fix up to a very expensive one.

Could be as simple as the gas cap....
