Check engine light will NOT go off!

This light has been on since November. I took it to Midas and those bastards could not fix it after $1000 and 2 weeks. First time, they said some plug was leaking and they suggested that i fix that 1st before anything. Then i left it with them for FOUR days to fix the light problem and 2 days later, the light came back on.

When it first came on, Advanced Auto hooked it to a computer and they said it was the catalytic converter. Midas said, their computer said it was the Intake gasket. I was out of town and they did not call to ask me if i wanted to fix it and they went ahead and did it and charged me for $390 for labor for a part that was 18 bucks. I paid it because the light was off and now its back on.

1. Who do i report them to? I will email their corporate office and post reviews everywhere online but that wont be enough2. How do i fix this light in my car? I dont want to take it anywhere else because i dont trust anyone.
