Check Engine light... what the heck is error 1445?

Hey i think i got my overheating problem fixed (new t stat and put back old rad cap) but the car runs a little colder than usual? Oh well anyways...

I recently got a check engine light and the guy at autozone said it was a 1445 engine code and that it was a manufactuar code. Can anyone help me?

edit: He said it was emissions related. Do i have to take it to the nissan dealership or something then?

Im not 100% sure but that dosent look like an obdI code.

crap sorry. It is an OBD 2 sensor codeand i guess its the purge valve or something like that. How the heck do i fix this mess? Where is it even located? Someone please help me!!!

ok: my guess since i dont know year make model recent history b4 this code came up/ light the check engine pic...(besides the t/stat and rad cap change)

P1444-1445: Purge Volume Control Valve

Ok, check gas cap & reinstall it. goback --tell the autozone guy to reset the ECM. Then drive it again & see if the check engine would light up again/throw the same code...

if that happens, goto nissan online mechanic & post a new thread/ moderator can move this one over there...
