Maybe a bad cat, or a bad o2 sensor, or a bad maf sensor. My best guess would be a bad o2 sensor.Wes

So SES light came back on after driving 37 miles, took it back to the shop and they said to take it to Infiniti Dealership. Im going to change spark plugs tomorrow morning and reset the computer, This all happened after a pop charger intake was installed, anyone else throw codes after cold air install? would it be a good idea to take it to the dealership to have them retune the comp back to stock to take on the air intake?

Sounds like you may have messed up the mas sensor after the install. Re check all your work. and then re check it again. the ecu reset can be found here..zerothread/356397

Mass air looks good, im going to see if i can find a good code reader that i can pull up the o2s and see if one is not functioning fully.

Its most likely a rear 02 sensor...that will throw this code. Its common with some Altimas.

Since you did change the intake recently though, it could very likely be the MAF sensor.

You're in UTAH???!!

I just noticed that.

You can swap the MAF out pretty quickly to do a test. If that doesn't solve your problem I would blame it on the rain...oh wait, i mean the rear o2 sensors. Not too tough to swap those out. Just expensive.

took it to Infiniti and they are putting in new O2s 600 bucks but they are doing 6 new injectors and new valve cover gaskets under the power train warranty. I can handle all that for 600 i suppose

I think its pronounce "You-Tar" but I'm not sure...

Did you get this issue resolved then? It was the MAF?

What was wrong with the injectors? Hopefully they are changing out more than just the valve cover gaskets...and are doing the entire valve covers for you. The seal that goes bad is part of the valve cover.

Got it done, 2 new O2s. Injectors were at 80 to 90% so they just did it under power terrain warranty, and a bunch of other crap.. Runs great now

yea Powertrain warranty is 7 years 70000 miles i believe. they replaced both air fuel ratio sensors? thats pretty good. I wonder why they weren't included in the warranty work... either way, you got a bargain when its all said and done.
